The primary years at EKIS
Grades 1 to 5 are where learning habits are set for life. Our conviction is simple: children who read confidently, reason mathematically and ask good questions by Grade 5 can do anything afterwards.
Classes are structured but never joyless. Discovery, projects and discussion sit alongside practice and mastery, and progress reaches parents in plain language.
What Grades 1–5 include
- CBSE-pattern syllabi in English medium, with languages per the school's language policy — the medium for each subject is confirmed at admission
- Computational Thinking & AI from Grade 3 — the CBSE's national strand, on exactly the grades EKIS teaches
- Science and maths taught with lab and hands-on work, not only textbooks
- A reading culture with dedicated library time in the timetable
- Sport, arts and activities inside the timetable, not squeezed after it
- Character education continuing daily from kindergarten
